Lighting Design

Inspyer Lighting understands that the home is a reflection of the client’s unique personality and style and that their tastes and requirements must be carefully considered. Close consultation with the client gives valuable insight into how they live within their home and allows the lighting to be tailored to their needs. This approach ensures that every bespoke lighting scheme produced is both unique and exceptional.

Inspyer Lighting believe that every home deserves beautiful lighting. They strive to offer a lighting design service with a very flexible approach, that responds to the requirements of the client, and caters to all project and budget sizes.

Stage 1. The Brief

Initial discussions with the client allow us to understand the scope, size and timings of the project. They also allow us to get to know the client on a personal level and understand what they wish to achieve.

Stage 2. The Proposal

A tailored fee proposal for the project is presented, outlining costs and proposed works.

Stage 3. Design & Specification

Working closely with the client, designer, architect and contractors a lighting concept is developed and detailed lighting plans created. Technical information to support the design is produced along with a specification of appropriate lighting and control products.

Stage 4. Implementation

Close co-operation with the contractors on site ensures smooth and accurate implementation of the scheme. We continue to review the designs with the client and design team throughout the process and provide on-going support both on and off site.

Stage 5. Procurement & Delivery

Having sourced the most appropriate lighting and control products, we co-ordinate all aspects of the procurement and delivery process. All orders are checked and re-packaged on a room-by-room basis for ease of installation on site and we liaise with on-site contractors to arrange delivery.

Stage 6. Commissioning

The final and most important stage is to commission the lighting scheme; ensuring the lighting is as designed and the control system is programmed to create mood and atmosphere.
